Service Description

TF Broken Carbine Get ready for bloody fingers and a whole lot of cursing! This course has been described as "The course you don't WANT to take but the course you NEED to take". In this 6 hour block we deep dive into anything and everything that can go wrong with your AR-15. You will learn how to diagnose and fix both simple and "complex" malfunctions and everything in between. You will leave with an entry level armorer understanding of how your rifle functions as well as the confidence to fix it whether stationary, in the prone, on the move, or in the dark! Mandatory gear List: AR-15 Carbine/Rifle (you may bring an AR-15 pistol but I would caution you that some of the clearing techniques involve the buttstock striking the ground or your thigh and occasionally we have seen braces break doing this) Pistol with gunbelt and or concealed carry with a couple mags (this will facilitate a brief discussion/drills on transitions when your long gun goes down) Minimum of 4x AR magazines (1 in the gun, 3 on body) Ear protection Eye protection Gun cleaning kit/lube Range/Weather appropriate clothing/footwear Note taking material Pen and/or Sharpie marker Optional gear list: Ambidextrous charging handle (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - some clearing techniques become extremely difficult and or nearly impossible without one) Any sort of device you use to help clear malfunctions (a knife doesn't count, I mean devices specifically made to clear a certain malfunction) 5.56 dummy rounds Range bag / Gun case Snacks, water, caffeine Jacket Gloves Medical gear is ALWAYS welcome on the range!
